Last Call for Good Neighbor Award Applications

Who Can Apply? We encourage all members who volunteer in their communities to apply. You can nominate yourself to win the award or a fellow Realtor®. Applications must be submitted by Friday, Sept. 6.

What Are This Year’s Prizes? Donations will be made to your charity of choice in the amount of $2,500 for first place, $1,500 for second place, and $1,000 for third place.

Help Sweep the Beach this Fall

I’m Listening: NJ Realtors® is teaming up with Clean Ocean Action for their fall beach cleanup on Oct. 19 from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. There are more than 80 locations around the state to choose from to help keep the ocean clean and free of debris.

Where Can I Sign Up? Click here to register, view the map of the fall clean-up locations, and sweep the beach with us rain or shine. New Jersey Realtors® will be meeting at the Island Beach State Park location.

Join the 5K for a Cause

Tell Me More: NJ Realtors® Housing Opportunity Foundation is teaming up with the Montclair Brewery and Big Train for a 5K walk and run on Sept. 12. Registration is $30 which includes your 5K entry, a free beer, pizza, and live music by Big Train.

Make Your Voice Heard in the Industry

Tell Me More: Assist in the decision-making process and consider applying for a New Jersey Realtors® 2025 Committee. The application is open now through Oct. 18 at 5 p.m.

How Many Committees Are There? New Jersey Realtors® is made up of 14 committees that oversee different aspects of the association such as our advocacy efforts, Realtors® Triple Play, communications, and more.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

  1. Try a recipe for these iconic Latino dishes.
  2. Attend a Latino-Hispanic Heritage festival in Trenton with the Boys and Girls Club and the Puerto Rican Friends Community Organization.
  3. Read the 2023 State of Hispanic Homeownership Report to gain insight into the major factors contributing to the rise in Hispanic homeownership in the U.S. over the past year.
  4. Celebrate Hispanic authors and creators and add these books to your reading list.
  5. Visit a virtual exhibit of the contributions of Hispanic people and culture through the lens of the American postage stamp.
  6. Discover the stories of some of the remarkable Latinas who have helped shape the U.S.

Feature Story of the Week: New Video Now Available Highlighting the Updates to the Consumer Information Statement

The New Jersey Real Estate Commission released an updated Consumer Information Statement to comply with the Real Estate Consumer Protection Enhancement Act, which now requires the CIS to be signed. Watch the video below with NJ Realtors General Counsel Yuliya Tedeschi to learn more about the CIS.
