1 New Webpage Launched with Consumer Protection Enhancement Act Resources

What Should I Know? The Real Estate Consumer Protection Enhancement Act, which strengthens protections and transparency for consumers and real estate licensees, will take effect on Aug. 1. The law requires the Seller's Property Condition Disclosure Form, introduces designated agency, and more.

2 REC Adopts LLC Rule

I'm Listening: The New Jersey Real Estate Commission formally adopted a rule allowing commission payments to be made to Limited Liability Companies, as initiated by New Jersey Realtors® and signed by the governor.

What Else Should I Know? While the REC adopted the LLC rule, it will not go into effect until six months after it is published in the New Jersey Register. New Jersey Realtors® will notify members when this rule takes effect, which will be in 2025.

She serves as an Emergency Medical Technician and the Cadet Advisor, providing essential guidance and training to cadets aged 15 to 18. She also provides comfort and familiarity to those in distress, making a meaningful impact on her community.

3 HOF to Host 5K This September

I'm In, Tell Me More: New Jersey Realtors® Housing Opportunity Foundation, in collaboration with Montclair Brewery and Big Train, is hosting a 5K on Sept. 12. Participants can walk or run the route and the race will conclude at the Montclair Brewery for an after party with a free beer, pizza, and entertainment from Big Train.

What Else Should I Know? The 5K supports HOF's mission to foster safe and affordable housing opportunities in New Jersey.

4 Complete Your Code of Ethics Requirement By the End of the Year

What's Required? To maintain your Realtor® status, you must complete ethics training every three years and the course should be 2.5 hours or more.
