NJ Realtors Welcomes 2017 Leadership Team

New Jersey Realtors, the trade association serving more than 48,000 members, named Robert Oppenheimer, of Cliffside Park, its 2017 president during their Centennial Gala and President’s Installation at its annual Realtors Triple Play Convention in Atlantic City. Also installed were president-elect Christian Schlueter, of Lacey; first vice president Ilene Horowitz, of Rockaway; treasurer Jeffrey Jones, of Parsippany; and Tg Glazer, of Westfield, who will serve as immediate past president.

 

“It is huge honor to serve as president during New Jersey Realtors’ centennial year, and I appreciate your confidence and support as I lead the association,” Oppenheimer said during the installation to approximately 300 guests.

 

Oppenheimer is the broker/owner of RE/MAX Fortune Properties in Englewood Cliffs and has been a Realtor since 1986. He served as president-elect in 2016 and first vice president in 2015 for New Jersey Realtors. Oppenheimer has also served in numerous chair and committee positions for the association. On the local level, he served as president of the Eastern Bergen County Board of Realtors for four years and was honored as their 2010 Realtor of the Year. He has also served on numerous committees for the National Association of Realtors. Oppenheimer received the 2014 Distinguished Service Award for RE/MAX of New Jersey.

 

Schlueter has been licensed since 1985 and is a broker-sales associate with RE/MAX at Barnegat Bay in Toms River. He served as NJ Realtors’ 2016 first vice president and has also served on numerous committees over the years. He has been active with both his local board and the national association.

 

Horowitz, a Realtor with RE/MAX American Dream in Denville, has been a Realtor for 20 years. She has served on numerous NJ Realtors committees and has been a member of the board of directors since 2008. She served as president of her local board, the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors, from 2012-2014 and has been a trustee there since 2005. Additionally, Horowitz has served on committees and advisory groups for the National Association of Realtors.

 

Jones, broker/owner of Amerisource Realty Network, LLC in Parsippany has been a Realtor since 1983. He was the association’s 2016 treasurer and has also served on numerous committees. He has served as secretary and treasurer for his local board, the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors, and has also served on committees for the national association. Additionally, he works as a continuing education instructor and is a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court ethics committee.

 

Glazer, a broker-sales associate with Coldwell Banker’s Westfield-East office, has been a Realtor since 2004. He has served on the NJ Realtors board of directors since 2009 and has served on numerous committees. Nationally, he is involved in several committees as well.
