Professional Standards
To ensure our members represent the highest standards of the profession, RealSource has a number of intiatives.  Our New Member Orientation provides the most up-to-date information on issues relating to the industry and professional conduct including:  Code of Ethics, Anti-Trust, Fair Housing, and more.  Our Professional Standards, Grievance, and Mediation Committees receive annual training and provide a neutral forum to resolve commission or other disputes.

 

Professional Development
Ongoing professional development is critical to the success of our members, and RealSource programs are specifically designed to ensure that success.  Enhance skills and stay ahead of industry trends and techniques with educational programs and seminars.  Pursue the latest NAR and other certifications through frequently offered courses.  Annual Roundtable features keynote speakers from our industry.  Free Professional Lending Library provides industry stats, trends and resources.  Topics and Trends is a series of  educational and networking sessions that serve as an introduction for new agents and a refresher for seasoned Members. 

 

Technology
“Test-drive” and become proficient in the industry’s latest technological innovations.  Our Training Center is equipped with the latest industry software and a staff that helps members integrate new technologies into their career.  In addition, members enjoy access to our Technology Support Hotline which provides free tech support Monday thru Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  NJMLS hands-on training sessions are hosted regularly.

 

Networking and Volunteering
Participate in professional  and social networking events as well as community volunteering opportunities.  Our extensive networking opportunities include the Mid-Year Meeting, Annual Meeting, and Circle of Excellence Breakfasts.  RealSource also has an active Affiliate program to help build friendships and partnerships.  Additionally, our Community Service Committee provides an excellent way for members to participate in Bergen community activities.

 

Our leadership works closely with the National Association of REALTORS® and the New Jersey Association of REALTORS® in lobbying on behalf of members and the real estate industry.

 

Professional Recognition
Every year, we recongnize members for outstanding achievement in real estate and for their contributions to our communities.  Professional recognition includes:  Circle of Excellence, Distinguished Sales Club, Quarter Century Club, REALTOR® of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and more. 

 

Public Relations Campaign
Benefit from a comprehensive local effort to educate the public about the value and professionalism of REALTORS®.  Ongoing campaign features a weekly “Ask the REALTOR®” column in local papers, regularly issued press releases and an aggressive advertising campaign promoting RealSource REALTOR® Members.  Educational handouts on real estate issues are available for free Member download and use. 

 

Members also enjoy access to our website with a comprehensive Member section featuring a wealth of professional information and resources including access to Association forms, upcoming events calendar, professional standards guide, and much more!  

 

Member Communications
Weekly E-Newsletter keeps members informed of the latest Association activities; and industry news, trends, and statistics.

Our Member Rewards program provides additional networking opportunities as well as discounts at more than 80 local businesses. Members receive a “Rewards” key tag and pocket-sized directory.
